Join Us for the Louisville Food Drive & Candy Collection!

This Autumn, Ascend Orthodontics is partnering with Monarch PK-8 to make a significant impact in our community! Instead of our traditional candy buy-back, we’re excited to host a November-long food drive, and we’re still welcoming leftover Halloween candy as part of the donations.

From November 1st to the 30th, students, families, and community members are invited to contribute non-perishable food items (and candy!) to support local families in need during the holiday season.

How It Works

  • Donate Food & Candy – Bring in non-perishable food items or extra Halloween treats to the collection boxes at Monarch PK-8.
  • School Competition – Each grade will compete to see who can raise the most donations. The grade with the highest total wins a special prize celebration—think pizza party or a holiday-themed event!
  • Support Local Families – All donations will help bring warmth and nourishment to neighbors in need this holiday season.

Why This Matters

  • Teaches Kids Generosity – Students learn firsthand how small contributions add up to significant community impact.
  • Spreads Holiday Cheer – Donations provide comfort and joy to families during a season when it’s needed most.
  • Still Sweet! – Leftover Halloween candy is welcome too, making it easy for families to participate in more than one way.

Important Dates

  • November 1 – Food drive kickoff at Monarch PK-8 and community announcement.
  • November 1–30 – Ongoing food and candy collection at Monarch PK-8.
  • December 5 – Winning grade announced and prize celebration hosted!

Be Part of the Giving Spirit

This year’s Louisville Food Drive is more than just an event—it’s an opportunity to rally together, support one another, and create meaningful change right here in our community.

Let’s make this holiday season brighter for families in need. Thank you for helping us turn kindness into action!
